The E-Gallery bio picture
  • Welcome to eGallery web blog…

a gallery by Edmund Tham (one of the World's Top 9 WPJA Wedding Photographers in 2008). This gallery is an extension of our office and functions as a place to showcase our masterpieces. Beside that, this gallery also doubles up as a creative place for friends / photographers to gather and share their thoughts together.

Edmund is a graphic design graduate with years of experience in the advertising and events management industry whose love for photography began during his teenage years while working as an assistant at a photography studio. This love affair blossomed over the years and breathed life to eGallery. Edmund believes that great photography goes beyond skilled hands and technical know-how. Most importantly, it requires an expressive mind, a keen eye and a kindred heart to grasp the finer details, thus revealing emotions that speak volumes. My vision is simple: to boost the level of Malaysian wedding photography making it on par with international standards.

Kay & Yuki, Japanese Wedding in Tokyo

This is my first time to Tokyo, Japan. Is really excited for me. I will like to thanks for the lovely couple Kay & Yuki giving me this opportunity to be there for their wedding ceremony. Kay & Yuki held their wedding at Engaku-Ji temple, i about one hour drive from Tokyo city. It’s a very simple ceremony last about 30 mins, then continue with group photo sections and proceed to a reception, It’s 5 mins away the temple. This is a very good experience for me to explore Japan.

Kith & Grace Wedding Portrait, Langkawi.

It was a hot sunny afternoon in Langkawi, with the Hong Kong based lovely couple Kith & Grace. We met each other a day before the shoot and they are very friendly and nice person to work with. Kith & Grace first time to Langkawi and they let us to decide on the shooting locations. They are totally open idea for us, thanks for their trust on us.

I did lot of Wedding Portraits in Langkawi before and i told myself i want to try something new instead of those ordinary spots. So we spent half day trip driving to hunt for new locations. On the shooting day, I still remember that was a super sunny day with atleast 38 degree (i guess). All of us cannot stand for the weather and it affects the result of the photos too. So end up we canceled some of the locations that we planned.

This project is collaborated with an oversea Bridal Studio Romantic Kingdom from Hong Kong and this is our first collaboration and we hope there is more to come in future.
