The E-Gallery bio picture
  • Welcome to eGallery web blog…

a gallery by Edmund Tham (one of the World's Top 9 WPJA Wedding Photographers in 2008). This gallery is an extension of our office and functions as a place to showcase our masterpieces. Beside that, this gallery also doubles up as a creative place for friends / photographers to gather and share their thoughts together.

Edmund is a graphic design graduate with years of experience in the advertising and events management industry whose love for photography began during his teenage years while working as an assistant at a photography studio. This love affair blossomed over the years and breathed life to eGallery. Edmund believes that great photography goes beyond skilled hands and technical know-how. Most importantly, it requires an expressive mind, a keen eye and a kindred heart to grasp the finer details, thus revealing emotions that speak volumes. My vision is simple: to boost the level of Malaysian wedding photography making it on par with international standards.

This slideshow is prepared for the Taylor’s University talk last Thursday. The slideshow contents all the wedding day moments that i captured recently. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Wai Hong & Jamie (my best friend wedding)

I know Wai Hong more then 10 years since secondary school, is my pleasure to be one of the “Heng Tai” and official photographer in his wedding. Their wedding held on 23rd Oct 2010 (the super hot date for year 2010). I think i got more then 20++ couples looking for this date (local and overseas wedding), some even want to pay me double price for the shoot. But all i rejected, i just told those couples Wai Hong is one of my best buddy, he did helped me a lot in the past, so i definitely need to be a part of his wedding and capture all the wonderful memories at the wedding. Here is the Same Day Edit slidehsow… enjoy…

Craig & Carmy, Singapore Wedding

Craig hails from the paradise of New Zealand and Carmy the lion city of Singapore but they never met at any of those two places. Craig has worked in Singapore for almost 5 years without ever knowing Carmy existed. Instead, love blossomed in one of the most unexpected places – the desert of Bahrain and it was the best thing that ever happened to them.

When Carmy first went to Bahrain for work, she lamented about the lack of good quality ‘dates’ anyone could find in the desert where the common quality ones are aplenty at the bottom of the palm trees until one day, her girlfriend Chaesia gave her a seed of happiness – Mr. Bean which she planted at her desk. Craig, a new colleague in the company, who just sat 2 rows behind her had the opportunity to walk pass her desk every now and then started to take an interest in Mr. Bean – and her. Despite the different cultures they came from and had to adjust to in the new country, sparks of love just fly.

Finally they got married. Here is the same day edit slideshow.
