Received the below press release news from WPPI last week on my 3x accolades of excellence on WPPI 2010 16×20 print competition.
It was in the midnight of 2 to 3 am, I was still working on the photo retouching. I received MSN from Louis Pang and got to know that i got 3 Accolades of Excellence in the competition. And i got to know that one of my photos “Expression” scored me 91 points with a Black Tag. As i know to score above 85 is already very hard, but i could did it 91 points and the photo into the finalise. It was midnight in KL and I thought I was in the dream…within the following few days, it was confirmed again by Louis Pang on my results of few AOE obtained and a follow up email from WPPI itself that I have 3 accolades of excellence for 2010 16×20 print competition out of my 4 submission. It is a tough competition compare to previous 8 x 6 Print Competition whereby world top photographers will be entering for this annual print competition.
Here, I would like to thank Louis who encourage so many Malaysian photographers to join WPPI since last year and all his advise. Of course, I have to thank E-Photo Media with their excellent print quality and superb customer service toolol, almost forget, all my lovely couples below, who entrusted me as their official wedding photographer and allow me to capture part of the moments of their life.
